A Love Letter to What Doesn’t Fit

I tried the jacket on. I buttoned it up, walked around in it, and tried to make it work. But the truth is, it just doesn't fit—and that is a relief to finally acknowledge.
The online world moves at a breakneck speed. It rewards rapid-fire advice, constant visual presence, and continuous broadcasting. For a long time, I tried to adapt to that rhythm. But as an introvert who processes non-linearly, values deep integration, and thrives in quiet, one-on-one connection, I was forcing a circle into a square hole.
I don't need a platform to validate the work I do, and I don't need algorithms to measure meaningful human connection. My energy belongs in the quiet, grounded spaces: face-to-face conversations, real-time relationships, and deep, local focus that grows at its own natural pace.
So, I have officially closed the chapter on posting to Instagram.
This post serves as a gentle reminder—to myself and to anyone else who needs it—that it is okay to walk away from spaces that require you to perform.
To those who found me through social media and shared kind words along the way: thank you. I am not disappearing; I am simply gathering my focus right here on this site, where I can share thoughts on my own terms and work with people in a way that feels true.
Here’s to accepting who we are, honoring our own rhythms, and building a life in the spaces where we actually belong.
Warmly,
Paula
